well, sadly i have decided to join roo in the comment moderation camp. a friend of mine had a very disturbing comment on her latest post. unfortunately, as wonderful as blogging is, there are some really horrible people out there. i think it is a good idea for everyone who reads this or comes across it to add as much protection to their blog as possible.
on another note, it has come to my attention that pictures that are posted up on the web, and especially emailed, are very easily accessible in cyberspace. This means that ANYONE can get them and upload them. i myself copy and save pics from my friends’ blogs. while my intentions are good, not everyone else’s are. please guys, choose the pics carefully that you put up and send via email. it is a sad reality, but there it is.
I have done that thanks for the warning. its quite scary the world we live in. I am very careful with my photos but I do post them
On my baby site I go onto we have these people called trolls they infiltrate say the antenatal club pretending they have a baby and the all sorts of stuff happens to them its awful

Bummer isn’t it. I took off a photo of one of my god-daughters in the end, because it was always there at the top of Goggle hits and it just didn’t sit right with me.
I have to admit that I put all my photos on the net onto Flickr, and it has a very simple and effective system of who it allows to view them, and it is entirely up to me who has that permission.
It’s sad to think that life’s simple pleasures have to be measured at times, and that rogue elements have to be accounted for. I suppose we have to allow for it, but not let it spoil our enjoyment of what we do.
